Thermal Energy meters from Sontex:
flexible and reliable.
Super convincing product line
Superstatic and Supercal thermal energy meters are available for many flow rates. They are used in building technology and automation and in heating networks.
The Superstatic and Supercal families have proven themselves thousands of times in thermal measurement and are unrivaled in cooling applications. Measurements are made using flow sensors and temperature probes, and the associated calculators calculate energy consumption. They can be mounted vertically or horizontally and can be installed in supply or return pipe.
A wide range of communication modules is available.
The thermal energy meters of the Superstatic and Supercal family are characterized by a high measurement accuracy and can also be used with over 90 different cooling liquids already integrated; others on request.
Piezoelectric sensor
The thermal energy meters work according to the fluidic oscillation principle: Due to the specific geometry inside the meter, a stable oscillation is generated, the frequency of which is directly proportional to the flow rate. The piezoelectric sensor measures this frequency via pressure differences and thus calculates the volume.
This principle, developed by the NASA over 50 years ago, was brought to market maturity by Sontex and is now used in several hundred thousand thermal energy meters worldwide. One of the advantages is that it can also be used for large pipe diameters. The Superstatic and Supercal meet the Standard EN1434 Class 2 and Class 3 for the mechanical Supercal 739.
