Sustainability is not just a buzzword at the Sontex Group – it is at the core of our technology and our actions. For over 35 years, we have been developing and manufacturing innovative metering systems for heat, water and energy in Switzerland, and now also in Germany and France. Our goal remains unchanged: to make resource consumption transparent, fair and efficient.
Sontex products make a measurable contribution to climate protection
Every heat meter, water meter and heat cost allocator helps property owners, energy providers, property managers and end users to use energy and water more consciously and based on data. Transparent consumption data creates awareness – and awareness has been proven to lead to measurable savings in heating and hot water costs. In this way, our solutions help save millions of kilowatt hours of energy and cubic meters of water year after year.
By integrating modern communication technologies such as LoRaWAN® or wM-Bus (OMS), along with our cloud-based platform Sonexa, we enable efficient remote reading and drive digitalization. This significantly reduces on-site visits and lowers CO₂ emissions.

Our ESG Report
Our ESG report provides transparent insight into how we take responsibility and implement our sustainability goals across Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) areas.
It is based on the requirements of the EU Directive 2022/2464 (CSRD) and covers our activities at our headquarters in Switzerland as well as our locations in Germany and Italy. In doing so, we create transparency around our progress and our commitment to a sustainable future.
